Our methodology

• No paid placements

  Nobody can pay to rank higher. Listings and submissions are free.

• How tools are ordered

  In each category, a small number of tools are marked as top picks and listed first. Everything else is listed alphabetically.

• Pricing labels

  We label each tool as free, freemium, free trial or paid, and link to the vendor for current prices, which change often.

• Corrections

  Spotted something out of date? Tell us through the submit page and we will fix it.
